Portwell Expands Its Family of Mini-ITX Embedded System Boards with Intel Core i7/i5/i3 Mobile Processors and AMT 6.0
FREMONT, CALIF. - Users of the latest Microsoft® Windows® 7 operating system will be pleased to hear that American Portwell Technology, Inc., (http://www.portwell.com) has released WADE-8020, a new Mini-ITX embedded system board that takes full advantage of Mobile Intel QM57 Express chipset to provide increased mobile computing performance and graphics.
At the heart of the new WADE-8020 is Intel's Core i7/i5/i3 mobile processor, which is aimed at users who need the solutions that the previous Core 2 Duo and Core 2 Quad cannot provide. In addition to the Mobile Intel QM57 Express chipset, WADE-8020 includes: two SODIMM that support dual channel DDR3 SDRAM up to 8 GB; dual display via VGA/DVI/HDMI/LVDS; four SATA connectors up to 3Gb/s with RAID 0, 1, 5, 10; one PCI, one PCI-E x1 and one Mini PCIe; dual GbE based on PCI-E x1 high bandwidth I/O interface; Intel Active Management Technology (AMT) 6.0; and Inter Hyper-Threading Technology (Intel HT).
American Portwell's WADE-8020 Mini-ITX embedded system board is available now for applications such as point-of-sale (POS), lottery, medical, gaming, high-resolution digital signage, surveillance security monitoring and kiosk.
