The new MITX-6932 board impresses with a total board height of 20mm with heat sink, greater processing power (2.13 GHz) and 4 times improved graphics than previous Atoms with support of DirectX9 on Windows and Linux, and added smart connective technologies with power consumption under full load at 12W. Using the Intel NM10 Chipset, the MITX-6932 offers rich I/Os with up to 4GB DDR3 memory, 6 USB 2.0, 6 COM ports, 2 Intel 82574L Gigabit Ethernet, VGA, LVDS, HDMI, DVI display outputs, 5.1 HD Audio I/Os, 2 mini-PCIe slots on board for SSD, WiFi, and cellular connection, and 1 SIM socket for 3G/4G connection. With a 12V DC power connector, the MITX-6932 offers a low power consumption solution targeted at POS terminals, kiosks, infotainment, M2M, in-transit applications, Panel PCs, digital signage, enterprise security, digital surveillance, medicine, and factory automation.
To facilitate in integration where space is of concern, the mini-PCIe expansion slots support mini-PCIe Solid State Drives to offer a fully functional motherboard solution at under 25mm in height with heatsink. With a low footprint size of 170x170x18mm, the MITX-6932 board is designed compact to fit in space constrained areas without compromising on rich I/Os. With smart design, I/Os and expansions are made readily available on the top of the motherboard to facilitate in future developments and a 12VDC is present as an I/O connector to allow for implementations in more mobile applications. In combination with Intel's smart connective technology on-processor, the MITX-6932 also offers dual Intel 82574L GbE LAN with LAN1 support of Wake-on-LAN and PXE function and mini-PCIe slots with USB-support and SIM socket for WiFi, WiMAX, and 3G/4G cellular connection.
Built with the next generation Intel Atom N2800/D2700, the MITX-6932 offers up to 2.13 GHz processing speeds with the best performance per watt to date as well as 640MHz integrated graphics allowing better refresh rates of displays at higher resolutions compared to previous generation Atoms. Display ports supported on the mini-ITX board include DVI-D, LVDS, HDMI, and VGA with capability to do dual 1080p streams. Resolution support on the HDMI and DVI is 1920x1200, VGA up to 2048X1536, and the LVDS a maximum resolution of 1366X768 (18bit) / 1440x900 (24bit); all with support for DirectX9. Operating Systems compatible with the MITX-6932 include Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows XP Embedded, Windows Embedded Standard 7, Win CE 7.0, Linux Meego, Linux Yacto, and Wind River VxWorks.
