Lyndex's New High-Speed Ultra-Lock(TM) Milling Chucks
Mundelein, IL (May 8, 2003)- Lyndex's new High-Speed Ultra-Lock(TM) Milling Chuck takes the industry's leading milling chuck to ultra-high speeds. All external surfaces are finish ground, and the holders are pre-balanced for high-speed applications up to 30,000RPM.
The Ultra-Lock's(TM) clamping torque is far greater than conventional milling chucks, and run-out accuracy is held to within 5µm at 100mm from the chuck's nose, making this the most accurate milling chuck available. High-Speed Ultra-Lock(TM) Milling Chucks can grip cutting tools from 1/8" to 1-1/4", making this versatile toolholder ideal for high-speed milling.
The Ultra-Lock(TM) more than effectively performs heavy-duty operations, while offering the versatility to perform finishing applications. A thick internal wall with slots creates strong chucking torque and rigidity, and the Ultra-Lock's(TM) unique chucking mechanism clamps the cutting tool evenly up to 3mm from the chuck's nose.
