Heavy Machining and Accuracy with Lyndex's New Ultra-Lock Milling Lock
Mundelein, IL (August 12, 2002) - Lyndex's new Ultra-Lock Milling Chuck features exceptionally high clamping force coupled with unparalleled accuracy. With the Ultra-Lock, clamping torque is 30-60% greater than conventional milling chucks. Run-out accuracy is within 5 microns at 100mm from the chuck's nose.
The Ultra-Lock more than effectively performs heavy-duty operations, while offering the versatility to perform finishing applications.
The Ultra-Lock features a compact nose ring for reduced interference. Collets are available to accommodate multiple tooling sizes in the same Ultra-Lock Milling Chuck. The Ultra-Lock comes in five sizes to handle all of your milling needs, from cutting tools of 1/8" to 2-1/2".
The Ultra-Lock also comes in a version for high-speed machining, which utilizes Lyndex's patented HSBalance(TM) balanceable system. These come pre-balanced and can be easily further balanced to fine-tune the cutting tool / toolholder assembly to the tightest specifications.
Lyndex's new coolant delivery system options allow for coolant through the tool or along the shank of the tool for efficient dispersal of coolant.
