MILLER UNVEILS NEW MIG SYSTEMS, ENGINE DRIVES AT FABTECH INTERNATIONAL 2001

APPLETON, Wis., Oct. 2001 - Miller Electric Mfg. Co. will demonstrate its new MIGRunner industrial-MIG welding packages, new line of Millermatic all-in-one MIG welding systems, and Trailblazer' DC and Trailblazer 301 G engine-driven welding
generators at FABTECH International 2001. A leading worldwide manufacturer of welding and plasma cutting equipment, Miller Electric's newest products help fabricators improve quality, efficiency and ease-of-use.

One Stock Number

Instead of piecing together components, the new MIGRunner packages from Miller Electric enable fabricators to order just one stock number and receive a complete MIG welding package. Designed exclusively for the CP-302 three-phase and XMT(R) 304
CC/CV and Invision(TM) 354MP DC inverter power sources, each package includes a power source, matching wire feeder and gun, running gear and other accessories. It saves 2 to 2-1/2 hours of assembly time by eliminating the need to install or assemble
drive rolls, running gear, power cords and work clamps.

Improved MIG Performance

The new Millermatic® 210 and Millermatic 251 provide improved welding performance. The Millermatic 210 also provides 10 amps more welding power, while the Millermatic 251 delivers better arc starts. These machines are more versatile than any unit in their class because they feature Miller's exclusive Gun-on-Demand(TM) feature for switching instantly between a spool gun and the regular MIG gun. In addition, their standard, factory installed spool gun connections provide a $200 value by eliminating the need to purchase and install an add-on spool gun module.

The Millermatic 210 provides a 30 to 210 amp welding range (160 amps at 60 percent duty cycle) and 10 amps more power than any comparable machine at any duty cycle. The Millermatic 251 welds metal 22 gauge to 1/2 in. thick in a single pass and has a 30 to 300 amp output range (250 amps at 40 percent duty cycle).

Powerful Multiprocess Engine Drives*

Miller Electric has introduced the new Trailblazer® 301 G and Trailblazer DC engine driven welding generators. Compared to the previous model, the Trailblazer 301 G provides 25 additional amps of CV power and an extra 1,500 watts of auxiliary power. It
now boasts a 300 amp output and 10,000 watt peak auxiliary power rating at 104° F. For those who do not need an AC weld output, the Trailblazer DC offers the same features and benefits as the 301 G at a lower price and with a simpler control panel.
