Modular Design Provides Maximum Value in Volume Applications
Rockford, IL - The Pacific Scientific division of Danaher Motion, through the Danaher Motion Drives Center for Excellence, introduces 6200 series high performance microstepping drives.
Available in two packages, the 6210 step and direction interface is ideally suited for use with most common board level or PLC based controllers. The 6215 features start and stop inputs making it an ideal low maintenance alternative to conventional clutch/brake solutions. It includes an on-board oscillator with accel, decel, low speed and high speed rates that can all be set independently.
Their modular design delivers maximum value while supporting a broad range of application requirements. They are designed for mounting in a bookshelf or cold plate configuration, and are ideally suited for single or multi-axis applications where space is at a premium.
These drives feature adjustable resolutions up to 51,200 steps per revolution. Further, microstep resolution and current ranges are DIP switch selectable. Idle current reduction helps to reduce motor heating when at idle, and conserves system energy that is useful when operating with battery backup systems. The 6200 series requires a 24-40 VDC input power source.
