Rosetta Technologies Releases MICR Printer with Advanced Security Features

- SP 4110N Secure MICR Printer Offers Best-in-Class Security and Control -

TAMPA, Fla., April 7 /-- Rosetta Technologies, a leading provider of desktop, workgroup and production MICR printers and software solutions, announced the availability of its SP 4110N Secure MICR laser printer. The SP 4110N Secure MICR is the Magnetic Ink Character Recognition (MICR) engineered version of Ricoh's SP 4110N printer, and is designed for companies concerned with the security of their on-demand check issuance process.

The SP 4110N Secure MICR prints 36 pages-per-minute with a first-page-out of less than 6.9 seconds. It offers fourteen advanced security features including MICR Toner Detection, Secured MICR Resources, Copy Count Set to 1, Bi-Directional Feedback and Audit Trail Reporting. In addition to the security features, it offers the same Intelligent MICR(TM) features of Rosetta's other MICR printers, including a programmable online dashboard, remote user and administrative control, highly-configurable alerts, and plug-and-play emulation of data streams of legacy printers from other MICR providers such as Source Technologies and Troy Group.

"With its extensive security and control features, the SP 4110N Secure MICR is ideal for branch banking, staffing, brokerage, and other industries that issue checks remotely in branch offices," said Glen Fossella, Vice President Sales and Marketing, Rosetta Technologies. "Its low acquisition cost and dual component toner system also provide customers with a strong return on investment." Dual-component toner allows for more consistent MICR output quality and lets users replace only the supplies that are depleted or worn, which drastically reduces the overall cost-per-page.
