GE Energy Introduces New Singlephase Electronic Watt-Hour Meter



ATLANTA, GA. - August 9, 2004 - GE Energy today announced the availability of the Type I-210(TM) Singlephase Electronic Watt-hour Meter. The Type I-210 meter is an electronic watt-hour meter designed for measuring energy consumption in singlephase services. The Type I-210 meter's advanced design is a powerful combination of accuracy, affordability and reliability.

GE Energy's Type I-210 meter delivers high quality, solid-state measurement performance, affordability, accuracy and reliability through its innovative sensor design and mechanical construction. The Type I-210 meter meets or exceeds ANSI® industry standards with a 60 Hz model available to operate at 120vac and 240vac for Class 20, Class 100, Class 200, Class 320 socket based residential or commercial installations. The Type I-210 meter is available in all the popular meter forms for measuring energy consumption in 2-wire or 3-wire transformer-rated or self-contained residential or commercial singlephase services.
