Elasti-Gard® Premium Elastomeric Metal Roof Repair System
ELASTI-GARD® is a unique system that combines the strength and durability of urethanes with the flexibility of acrylics to seal and waterproof. ELASTI-GARD is easily applied, dries quickly and stretches as metal roofs move without breaking or splitting. It will retain that superior flexibility, even under severe weather conditions and extreme temperature changes. The coating has a highly reflective finish and meets the National V.O.C. Emission Standards.
The system is made up of three components. ELASTI-GARD Primer is used on rusted areas to prevent further corrosion. Flexible Cement is then applied to seal fasteners, flashings and seams. Finally, ELASTI-GARD Coating is sprayed or brushed on to seal the system. Its bright finish beautifies roofs as it reflects harmful UV rays to keep buildings up to 30% cooler.
