New Multi-Metal Ignitek(TM) Lamps from EYE Lighting International of North America Provide Energy Savings and High Output for Metal Halide Lighting
CLEVELAND (December, 2004) -- EYE Lighting introduces its new Multi-Metal Ignitek(TM) 360W and 400W lamps to respond to the growing demand for energy saving, high output products. For use in retail big box stores, sports facilities, industrial high and low bay applications, warehouses, parking lots, auto sales lots and sports facilities. Energy-saving high output Ignitek lamps provide Pulse Start performance on standard metal halide ballast systems.
The innovative new Ignitek 360W lamp is excellent for upgrading facilities and saving energy without the initial system costs. The new lamp, which can operate on existing 400W metal halide ballasts, saves 40 watts of power per lamp compared to standard 400W lamps. In turn, this can equal energy savings up to $80 over the life of each lamp. The Ignitek 360W lamp also features superior maintained lumens, providing 29 percent more light than standard 400W metal halide lamps, thus reducing maintenance costs by extending the lamp replacement cycle and delaying costly replacement.
The new super high output Ignitek 400W lamp is one of the highest initial and maintained lumen output 400W metal halide lamps sold in the North American market. Operating on standard CWA 400W metal halide ballast, the lamp provides approximately 50 percent higher lumen maintenance than, standard 400W universal metal halide lamps.
With patented Iwasaki features such as a built-in Ferro-Electric Capacitor (FEC) Ignitor and unique electrode design, the Ignitek 360W and 400W lamps delay electrode deterioration, hard starting, end darkening and voltage rise to provide high lumen maintenance.
