Citect Releases CitectIIM V2.1
Penetration of MES Market Continues to Increase
Sydney, Australia - Citect, a global performance improvement solutions provider, today announced the release of CitectIIM V2.1. The latest version of Citect's MES* offering, V2.1 includes a number of innovative new features which enable Plant and Business Managers to improve the performance and profitability of their business, including an Enterprise Dashboard, a Metrics Analysis View and a Trend Projection Chart.
The Enterprise Dashboard allows customers with multiple sites to visualise and compare the performance of their plants and make strategic decisions to optimise their business. The Metrics Analysis View enables Operations Manager to analyse key performance indicators, (KPI) and to take prioritised correctional action before it impacts their plant. The new Trend Projection Chart provides timely visual representation of the predicted production result, (based on current trend) against the production target. Typically used in real time on the plant floor, it gives Operators instant feedback on their performance against production targets.
"CitectIIM enables the Enterprise to approach KPI measurement in a consistent way", explained Colette Munro, General Manager, CitectIIM. "The introduction of an Enterprise Dashboard provides for the real-time comparison of each plant's performance. This improved visibility allows for timely corrective action and increased accountability across the Enterprise".
Analysis of KPI data has been enhanced further in V2.1, with the addition of three new statistical charts: Box and Whiskers, x bar and r chart. These charts enable Plant and Business Managers to perform more powerful analysis of the KPI data. The reporting capability has also been improved in V2.1, and it is now possible to schedule a report so that it is automatically sent to the relevant personnel by email. In addition, as a supporter of the use of open standards, and a member of the OPC Foundation, CItect has included an OPC AE Client.

Energizer Holdings, Inc. is the latest global enterprise to select CitectIIM, last month awarding Citect a contract to implement its MES product at one of its alkaline battery plants with plans to add more plants within the year. After an extensive evaluation of six leading MES providers, Energizer determined the CitectIIM solution to have the best architecture and flexibility to meet its present needs and support future growth.
Revenues from CitectIIM continue to grow at a rapid rate, with triple-digit growth reported in February, for the second consecutive year.
