Cemtrex Inc has designed and launched a new Mercury monitor for coal plants by combining CVAAS and Dual function converter technology. The model SM4 does not use a seperate gas path to speciate mercury and so is very simple in construction and compact in size. This reduces the cost and maintenance required by the plant technicians, at the same time meeting Part 75 requirements completely which needs only total mercury to be measured and reported. For applications where speciation is required, SM4 is flexible to add speciation channel as needed.
