ISSI Announces a Complete Line of RoHS Compliant Products Targeted for Digital Consumer Applications
SANTA CLARA, Calif., Feb. 15 -- Integrated Silicon Solution, Inc. (NASDAQ:ISSI), a leader in advanced memory solutions, today announced a complete line of Lead Free, RoHS compliant memory products targeted for the digital consumer and computer peripherals markets. These products, which are compliant to the European Union's Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS), cover DRAMs, SRAMs and Serial EEPROMs. The products include SDRAMs from 16M through 256M densities, a wide offering of SRAMs and EEPROMs in densities from 1K to 128K, with bus protocols I2C, Microwire and SPI.
These devices are widely used in a broad range of digital consumer applications, including DVD players/recorders, DVRs, modems, set-top boxes, copiers, printers, handheld scanners, cell phones, tablet computers, wireless LAN and other computer peripherals. ISSI is also positioned to support the telecom, networking and automotive markets as they begin to migrate to RoHS compliant devices.
Compliant devices incorporate a different package code in the part number to differentiate them from non-compliant devices. The letter "L" is simply added to the package code for RoHS compliant devices.
