Scapa Offers Double Coated Medical Adhesive Tape for Surgical Drape Fabrication



Windsor, Connecticut - February 7, 2003. Scapa Medical offers Bioflex® Rx895S, a double-coated pressure sensitive adhesive film specifically designed for use in surgical drape fabrication.

Bioflex® Rx895S consists of a 3 mil matte polyethylene film coated on its exposed side with 1.75 mils of rubber pressure sensitive adhesive. The liner side of the film is coated with 1 mil of acrylic pressure sensitive adhesive. The film is supplied on an 80# kraft paper release liner.

This clear film provides excellent conformability to curved areas of the body, while the adhesives adhere extremely well to a variety of non-woven and film substrates. The release liner used on Rx895S delivers good converting capabilities.
