New Technifor Compact Integratable Marking Unit

Charlotte, NC September 18, 2002...Technifor announces the new CN312Cm, compact,(50 x 40 mm marking window), integratable marking unit designed to meet aerospace marking criteria (IAQG--complies with SPEC 2000) on metal and plastic parts in various shapes and surface conditions, providing greater marking depth consistency without part distortion. The CN312Cm offers Data Matrix(TM) marking in conjunction with a unique 100% mark verification system available from Technifor utilizes a camera mechanism to physically "see" that each part receives the intended mark for complete traceability and greater throughput.

As an electromagnetic powered unit (no air required), the CN312cm has a lower operating noise level and can be integrated on production lines, or in automatic or semi-automatic assembly, or test stations in automotive and other industrial applications. The unit is also furnished column mounted for stand alone requirements. Marking performance features 5 x 7 font with characters from 0.5 to 45mm in height in steps of 0.1 mm. User-friendly integrated software allows calculation of variable data: date codes, shift codes, serial numbers, and a full range of management of text style including choice of fonts, logos, compression, spacing, automatic centering, plus linear marking, angular, radial, inclination, inverted and mirrored. In addition, the internal software eliminates the need for an external PC or PLC to program the unit.

Technifor is one of the world's leading manufacturer's of electronically controlled permanent, ultra-fast marking systems utilizing Micro-Percussion(TM) technology for identification on metal or plastic parts. Technifor machines are available as stand alone and integrated units for use in bench, manufacturing cells or automated production line applications.
