New Die Maintenance Module Now Available

Chicago, Ill., Sept. 6, 2006 -- AIM Analytical LLC has announced the availability of a new Die Maintenance module for its AIM Enterprise manufacturing intelligence software, which is being demonstrated in booth B-6679 during IMTS 2006. The new module will track maintenance of production dies by creating a history that details specific die location, tasks performed, operator and station. Additionally, the new module offers full alarm and reporting capability. Details of the new module include:

Die Maintenance History
o Records details specific to die location, tasks performed, operator and station
o Tracks individual tasks performed on a die and bundles performed tasks during a maintenance session
o Allows specification of jobs that should be performed during maintenance sessions
o Displays running list of tasks that have been posted during logging process

Alarm capabilities
o Alarms can be set based upon number of strokes, reworks, days or dates
o Alarms can be set specific to die, task, location

Reporting features
o Overview reports include views of the line, maintenance stations, dies and alarms
o Information reports provided on die data
