Magnetic Oil Filters help extend life of hydraulic components.

Press Release Summary:

Augmenting efficiency of conventional canister filter, Magnetic Oil Filters utilize rare earth magnets to attract ferrous and some non-ferrous particles circulating in oil systems. Small sticks are suitable for use on autos, trucks, and forklifts, while rods are available for use on larger systems for in-line filtration. Filter magnets are customizable for any system where filtration is needed.

Dakota Fluid Power, Y2K Division Announces the Release of the Magnetic, Oil Filtration System

Magnetic Filters capture and contain the ferrous materials circulating in an oil system which provide longer life for hydraulic system components and oil. Because of the lack of friction within the system,(metal particles) machines run cooler, quieter and longer.

Dakota Fluid Power/Y2K of Sioux Falls, SD is introducing a series of magnetic Oil Filters. Magnetic Filters attract ferrous and some non-ferrous particles circulating in an oil system. The magnetic filters augment the efficiency of the conventional canister filter by using incredibly strong rare earth magnets. The product is available in many different sizes. The smaller sticks are for use on autos, trucks, forklifts, etc., where a canister filter is used in the filtration process. Rods
(housing) are available for use on larger systems for in-line filtration. The filter magnets are customizable for any system where filtration is needed.

In the larger in-line systems, the magnets are easy to clean. Simply unscrew the rod from the top of the housing and wipe the rod clean with a rag. Reassemble the system by re-inserting the rod into the housing.

The product was invented out of a desire to save the customer money and to make a better product. The construction of the filter rod system (in-line) is superior to others with better flow around the magnets and a much stronger magnet for superior filtration and capture.
