Milltronics Manufacturing Company Introduces TT22

Milltronics Manufacturing Company, in Waconia, Minnesota will introduce a new machine concept at IMTS 2004 in Chicago, IL. The uniquely designed TT22, Twin Table Design, operates two independently controlled 22" square work tables that travel from a parked position outside the normal work area to the spindle. This new Twin Table design eliminates the need for costly pallet systems used on other machines.

Inside the work area this new machine concept will utilize a bridge design that offers maximum rigidity. The head movement typical of other bridge machines has been reconfigured to allow the entire bridge assembly to travel up and down thereby offering peak rigidity anywhere along the Z axis travel.

Beginning with the unique bridge design, the new TT22 was developed for maximum productivity offering 2000 ipm rapid traverse rates, 40 taper spindles up to 15,000 RPM, double arm style automatic tool changers with 16, 24 or 40 pockets, a work envelope of 22" x 22" x 22" and an operator load station.
