Cedarburg, WI - Orange Peel High Bases are now available for use with Type CCG Polyethylene and CFCG/SCG Metal Guards. Applications include pumps, fans, gear drives, crushers and plant machinery. High Bases elevate guards to accommodate high base to centerline requirements. They are made from fabricated steel and are powder coated in a safety orange finish.
Orange Peel standard coupling guards replace the need for custom engineered solutions. They're available locally, right off the shelf and right out of the box. Orange Peel guards are supplied in polyethylene or metal, and are supplied with all stainless steel hardware. Spacer coupling guards are available with non-sparking aluminum construction. After an initial sizing, Orange Peel guards are simply trimmed/adjusted to length and height, using 3 easy measurements and convenient trim lines. A typical installation will take less than an hour using common power and hand tools.
Orange Peel Rotating Shaft Guards also provide assured compliance with safety regulations. They come in a safety orange color with affixed warning labels and fully enclose the rotating members, allowing gaps no greater than 6mm (.250"). Orange Peel guards are hinged, and swing open for convenient coupling lubrication, inspection, and maintenance. Polyethylene guards never dent, rust, or need painting.
