CP382 - B&R System 2005 High-Performance CPU with Pentium III
Full PC performance in combination with classic control technology - that's embedded PC automation. PLC functionality with 200 microsecond task classes, flexible function modules like PLC Open motion library, Soft CNC, WebServer and VNC Server are all integrated on one platform while still retaining high-performance. 500 MHz Pentium III processor, 64 MB DRAM, exchangeable Compact Flash, or 10/100 Mbps Ethernet are only a few of the many features of the CP382. Insertable field bus modules allow custom solutions for every application. Centralized or decentralized I/O modules with precise, intelligent, and high-speed individual channels, as well as industry-specific technology components, expand the processing power of the system enormously. The B&R System 2005 is the only logic control CPU that can be synchronized with the position loop controller in a B&R Servo Drive, allowing for new levels of precision and repeatability in machine applications.
