The New AnyBus Communicator LonWorks Gateway (ABC-LON-RTU slave) acts as a slave on the Modbus RTU side by converting serial application protocols between the LonWorks network and master devices using the Modbus protocol. Converting data passing between the LonWorks network and the Modbus network lets devices in different networks understand each other's application data.
Self-configuration is made easy with HMS Industrial Networks' ABC LW Tool. The ABC-LON-RTU slave supports RS232/422/485 on the serial side and Free Topology Network on the LonWorks side.
AnyBus Communicator LonWorks mounts on a DIN rail and connects to a Modbus-standard product via a serial cable.
