Parker Extends Existing Line of LV Series Lockout Valves

The Pneumatic Division of Parker Hannifin Corporation has extended their line of LV Series Lockout Valves, used to prevent accidental actuation during the maintenance and servicing of air-operated equipment. The valves are offered in a full range of pipe sizes from 1/4" to 1-1/4" in both BSPP and NPT threads, with Cv's from 3.0 to 14, and are available with 1" and 1-1/4" exhaust ports.

LV Series Lockout Valves feature a rugged cast aluminum alloy body designed for either inline or surface mounting, a detented spool, and a threaded exhaust port for installation of a silencer or line for remote exhausting. Metal handles are supplied on valves with a 1" exhaust port, engineered plastic handles are supplied on valves with a 1-1/4" exhaust port. The valves are painted safety yellow and red for high visibility and are designed for use in systems to comply with OSHA Standard 29 CFR Part 1910. Operation consists of depressing the red handle to block pressure and relieve all downstream air pressure. A padlock is then installed through the locking hasp. Once the padlock is removed, the red handle is pulled out to return air pressure to the system.
