Original Press Release:

Columbia's New Load Transfer Station with Pallet Dispenser Provides Greater Pallet-exchanging Efficiency

Columbia Machine's NEW load transfer station with pallet dispenser (LTS-PD) can decrease pallet transfer times, increase transfer efficiency, and enhance pallet and load alignment.

The LTS-PD saves labor cost by allowing a single forklift operator to perform the entire transfer process. At a speed of 45-seconds per cycle, the forklift operator can place a load in the station and have it transferred to another pallet without assistance from an additional operator.

The LTS-PD simplifies warehousing and shipping by efficiently transferring loads to alternative pallets. It's ideal for capturing FDA required in-house pallets to reduce pallet replacement and repair costs.

Pallets can be loaded into the LTS-PD from two sides, and removed or picked up from either side. It works as a stand-alone device or can be incorporated into a packaging system.

Available for a low capital investment, it features rugged construction to withstand the punishment of forklift impacts; a small footprint, and a versatile design allowing it to fit most applications with no significant modifications.

For more than 40 years, Columbia Machine has manufactured high-level, floor-level, and robotic palletizers and accessories in the USA. All Columbia products are backed by 24-hour customer support and parts service.
