Liquid Level Monitor simultaneously monitors up to 8 tanks.

Press Release Summary:

Able to simultaneously monitor level, temperature, and volume data in real-time, digital 485 loop system provides users with interactive environment for tank level monitoring. Programmable master terminal can be used to select address of each tank gauge or be programmed as rolling monitor for all active tanks. Monitoring system is compatible with digital Modbus or ASCII (DDA) outputs. Tank information may be requested and retrieved by stand-alone master module at one main location.

MTS Sensors Provides Stand-Alone Master Monitoring System for Liquid Level Sensing

System provides simultaneous level, temp. and volume data for up to 8 tanks...

CARY, N.C. (June 9, 2003) - Providing tank farm or other plant engineers with complete liquid level monitoring capabilities, MTS Sensors provides a digital 485 loop system to enhance its line of liquid level gauges. The interface terminal provides continuous real-time data displays for up to eight tanks in one remote location. The programmable master terminal may be used to select the address of each tank gauge individually, or be programmed as a rolling monitor for all active tanks.

"This system provides engineers with a much more interactive environment for tank level monitoring," said Liquid Level Product Manager, Adrian Totten. "The system actually requests data from each gauge as predetermined by its programmer, adding a level of intelligence to the system."

The MTS monitoring system is compatible with digital Modbus or ASCII (DDA) outputs. Tank information may be requested and retrieved by the stand-alone master module at one main location. Optional models are available to link up with PCs or PLC systems. Data includes diagnostic screens, monitor trigger levels and error flags to help troubleshoot problems before testing in the field.

The system is approved for use in all Class I/Division 2 hazardous locations, groups B, C, D, F and G.
