Plymouth, MI, March 2004 - Optrex America's new T-51750 6.5-inch diagonal color TFT LCD module with VGA resolution offers a range of new features - including an ultra-slim outline, outstanding front-of-screen performance, and economical COG construction - to provide the ideal solution for applications requiring a mid-size flat panel display.
The T-51750 module has an exceptionally slim, symmetrical outline, measuring a compact 158.0 mm W x 120.36 mm H x 7.0 mm (11.55 mm, including component height). With a luminance of 400 nits and a 300:1 contrast ratio, it provides excellent front-of-screen performance. Features include economical chip-on-glass (COG) construction, low power consumption (4.8 W), and AGLR (Anti-Glare, Low Reflectance) Coating as standard.
The module is supplied with a reverse-scan capability that enables users to select either a normal scan or reverse scan to obtain the best intended image (depending on whether the mounted display will be typically viewed from above or below). The Optrex T-51750 module is supplied with 2 field-replaceable CCFL backlights with a minimum lifetime of 30,000 hours.
