Corrosion Resistant EasyLinear(TM) Slides
Rockford, Illinois -- Leidemaul Ltd. has introduced a complete family of corrosion resistant EasyLinear slides specifically designed to meet the demands of food, pharmaceutical, medical, and other extreme applications. Available in electroless nickel-plated aluminum or stainless steel, these EasyLinear slides work in extreme environmental conditions.
As a cost-effective solution, the electroless nickel-plated slide is available in diameters up to 1-inch and built with a combination of electroless nickel-plated aluminum and 303 or 400 stainless steel components.
A completely 303 stainless steel solution is also available in diameters up to 1-inch for those applications that require total corrosion resistance (even hot caustic washdown) and long life. All components for these EasyLinear slides are 303 stainless steel including pillow blocks, roundway shafting with a special hard chrome surface, rail supports, and motor couplings. Ball screws are available in 400 series stainless and lead screws in 303 stainless steel.
Both EasyLinear slide versions utilize Teflon composite linear bearings available in standard, high load, high wear, and food grade ratings. These slides are proven in tough washdown applications including hot caustic, in food processing facilities, pharmaceutical plants, and medical applications where corrosion is a problem.
