Compact 'Ecomag' Linear Actuator System Ideal for Medical and Home-Healthcare Settings

New Magnetic brand "Ecomag" linear actuators enable safe and precise power-driven movement of beds, tables, and chairs for patients in hospitals, clinics, rehabilitation facilities, and home-care settings. These compact and cost-effective systems feature modular design to promote customization for the most demanding application requirements.

Standard Ecomag systems are available in four models (push models ECO 20 and ECO 60 and push/pull models ECO 30 and ECO 70). Systems can deliver force up to 6000 N (1350 lbs.), stroke up to 300mm (12 in.), and speed up to 13mm/sec (0.5 in./sec).

Control units equipped with integrated transformers and rectifiers can be mounted directly to the housing, eliminating a need for separate installation of the control box and optimizing use of space. Other highly sophisticated control solutions (including microprocessor or infrared units) can be incorporated and available plug-in control units can accommodate up to four actuators.

Ecomag actuators utilize reliable worm gear motors with threaded spindle and are designed to serve maintenance-free. Systems can be engineered with an integrated overload cutoff feature for added protection against overheating. Additional specialized options and accessories can be specified to complement and extend system capabilities.
