Line Scan Cameras take pictures of objects in motion.

Press Release Summary:

HVSOLO series of 10-bit digital line scan cameras make high-resolution images of moving objects - such as parts on conveyor, continuous webs, or documents on feeder- without strobed illumination or complex image tiling. Camera line includes 15 models with 7 pixel array lengths, 3 output tap arrangements, 2 pixel sizes, and pixel data rates of 40 to 80 MHz. All models include real-time digital radiometric correction function that may be calibrated at any time.

Original Press Release:

HVSOLO Digital Line Scan Cameras: A New, Full-featured Product Line from HanVision Co., Ltd.

June 14, 2002 - Los Altos, CA - HanVision Co., Ltd. of Daejeon, Korea, announces the release of its full line of high-performance, 10-bit digital line scan cameras, the HVSOLO series.

Offering seven pixel array lengths, three output tap arrangements and two pixel sizes, the HVSOLO camera line includes 15 models to meet almost any requirement for resolution, speed and dynamic range. Total pixel data rates are 40 to 80 MHz depending on the number of pixels and taps.

Models with sensors from 512 to 3072 pixels long have 14 micron square pixels while the pixels in longer arrays are 7 microns square. A rugged mechanical design and precisely mounted sensors assure accurate, stable optical alignment. To compensate for nonuniformities due to the sensor, optics or lighting, all models include a real-time digital radiometric correction function that may be calibrated at any time.

HVSOLO cameras are supplied with the HanVision Camera Control Tool (HCCT), a Windows®-based software package providing interactive user control of all camera functions. All models can be supplied with either parallel LVDS or serial CameraLink interfaces. The cameras operate from 15 VDC power.

The HVSOLO series line scan cameras are ideal for acquisition of high-resolution images where the object to be scanned is in continuous linear motion. These cameras produce digital images of moving objects - parts on a conveyor, continuous webs or documents on a feeder - without the need for strobed illumination or complex image tiling.

The HVSOLO cameras are competitively priced and OEM discounts are available. All models are available 6 weeks ARO.
