LINCOLN, NE-Lincoln Industries is proud to introduce its newest innovation, NeverBlue(TM) Technology. As emissions regulations lead to an increase in engine exhaust temperatures and the resulting discoloration of chrome finishes, NeverBlue(TM) provides an effective solution to both meet emission regulations and prevent the "bluing" of highly cosmetic chrome.
The NeverBlue(TM) Technology is a combination of processes that prevents chrome finishes from discoloring at high temperatures. It is currently being used by Lincoln Industries' OEM and aftermarket customers for the heavy-duty truck market. According to Darren Parker, Director of Truck Aftermarket at Lincoln Industries, NeverBlue(TM) Technology gives its product line, Lincoln Chrome, a distinct advantage in the marketplace.
"No one else has this sophisticated or effective of a solution. Anyone who wants to preserve the quality of their stacks and keep their truck looking sharp can now turn to us for the answer. We already have the best looking stacks in the industry, and now we can make sure they stay that way even with higher exhaust temperatures," said Parker.
Parker pointed to the company's dedication to taking on the most difficult customer challenges as the primary motivation for creating NeverBlue(TM) Technology. In this case, meeting customers' needs meant finding an answer that many thought was impossible. But with the experience and history of innovation at Lincoln Industries, nothing would stop the team from finding the right solution.
While NeverBlue(TM) Technology is currently utilized only in the truck market, it is being evaluated for other applications and is in early testing stages with some of the companies existing customers. The first technology of its kind, it will continue to rapidly expand into other areas at Lincoln Industries.
