Shincor to Introduce Select-Hesive(TM) LIMS for Silicone-to-Plastic Molding at NPE 2006
Akron, OH: Shincor Silicones, Inc., a US subsidiary of Shin-Etsu Chemical Co., will introduce its new line of Select-Hesive(TM) LIMS for silicone-to-plastic molding at NPE 2006. The most common applications for this new product line are the automotive, medical and consumer goods injection molding marketplace.
Select-Hesion(TM) eliminates costly assembly steps by allowing molders to utilize 2-shot or insert overmolding processes. The results are improved part quality and consistency, which allows for increased productivity and cost savings. Shincor's Select-Hesive(TM) LIMS bond aggressively to thermoplastic substrates without primers or pre-treatment. Products are available in a full range of durometers that are USP Class VI compliant.
