CE-Compliant 'Category 4' Safety Light Curtains
Elmsford, New York, January 15, 2003 ... SCHMERSAL is pleased to announce the introduction of their new family of fully CE-Compliant "Category 4" Safety Light curtains. Each unit meets the current international safety standards (UL, CSA, IEC) for safety light curtains.
The SLC Series features an integral safety controller with dual 500mA PNP safety outputs and built-in digital diagnostics to facilitate easy installations and maintenance. Units are available with 14mm and 30mm resolution for protection fields of 160mm to 1810mm. With response times as low as 6ms, and a range of 18m, they satisfy a wide variety of applications.
Optional accessories include 6A safety relays, muting modules, reflecting mirrors, floor stands, vibration isolators, and mounting hardware.
