Level Transducers are compatible with dataloggers.

Press Release Summary:

Submersible, hydrostatic Models 116 and 126 provide ratiometric mV analog output to achieve Total Error Band accuracy of ±0.3%, making them suited for surface and groundwater level measurement. Static accuracy, independent of temperature effects, is ±0.10% FSO for Model 126 and ±0.25% FSO for Model 116. Compatible with Campbell Scientific® dataloggers, units are 316 SS or titanium with full-scale level ranges from 10-230 ft H2O.

Original Press Release:

New Submersible KPSI(TM) Level Transducers Designed Specifically For Dataloggers Provide Superior Accuracy

Hampton, VA, September 2004 - Pressure Systems, Inc., manufacturer of KPSI(TM) Level and Pressure Transducers, now offers two new submersible hydrostatic level transducers designed specifically for compatibility with Campbell Scientific® dataloggers. The Models 116 and 126 transducers provide an innovative ratiometric mV analog output to achieve a Total Error Band (TEB) accuracy of ±0.3%, making them ideal for surface and groundwater level measurement and control applications, including well and surface water monitoring, soil remediation, and dewatering.

The transducer cable features a total of six wires to enable sensing of the sensor bridge input voltage, which the datalogger uses to compensate for any deviations. This enables the TEB specification to be maintained over the compensated temperature range of 32°F to 86°F (0°C to 30°C). Static accuracy, independent of temperature effects, is ±0.10% FSO for the Model 126 and ±0.25% FSO for the Model 116.

Constructed of 316 SS or titanium, the new transducers are available in full-scale level ranges from 10 to 230 ft H2O (3 to 70 m H2O) with custom ranges available; proof pressure of 1.5x FS; and burst pressure of 2.0x FS. The units can operate over a total temperature range of -4°F to 140°F (-20°C to 60°C). The transducers are CE-compliant to EN 61000-6-4:2001 as well as EN 61000-6-2:2001 and are shipped with a vent filter that prevents moisture from entering the vent tube.

Available in custom lengths, the new transducers' cable incorporates Kevlar strength tensioning members to prevent cable elongation as well as a unique, self-sealing water block feature in case of minor cuts or abrasions.

Transducer pricing starts at $645. Delivery is 10 working days ARO.
