Level Sensor offers dielectric of 1.8.

Press Release Summary:

Two-wire Radar Level Sensor, with frequency modulated continuous wave (FMCW) technology, meets hazardous area needs in process industry and is suitable for applications ranging from simple storage to complex processing tasks. Unit delivers stable output in environments where vapors, condensation, agitators, and false echoes can make less powerful technology ineffective.

Original Press Release:

Solartron Mobrey to Launch High-Performance FMCW Radar Level Sensor at Houston ISA Show

A new two-wire radar level sensor will be introduced by Solartron Mobrey during October's ISA Show in Houston, Texas.

The competitively priced, high-performance sensor features frequency modulated continuous wave (FMCW) technology, providing superior reliability and repeatability of measurement over leading competing products with "pulsed" technology. The new
sensor's wide application range includes a dielectric of 1.8 as standard.

Designed to meet hazardous area needs in the process industry, the sensor is ideal for applications from simple storage to more complex processing tasks. It routinely delivers stable output in applications where vapors, condensation, agitators and false echoes can make technology that is less powerful or less sophisticated ineffective.

For more information on the new FMCW radar level sensor, visit Booth #1565 at ISA Houston (October 21st to 23rd, 2003) or contact Ric Schneider at 281/398-7890 (e-mail: rschneider@ solartron.com)
