A full line of high-intensity, long-life lens-end lamps for medical and surgical instruments, that are suitable for OEM and replacement applications, is available from Gilway Technical Lamp of Woburn, Massachusetts.
Gilway Medical/Surgical Lens-End Lamps are available filled with Halogen, Xenon, or a combination gas; offered in a wide range of styles that are compatible with Welch Allyn and other popular instruments. Combining high intensity and long life, the Halogen (Model ML-13), for example, features 15,000 LUX brightness and is rated for 500 hours operation.
Ranging in size from 3.8 mm dia. up and operating from 2.5 to 6.0 vdc and 0.16 to 1.20 amps, depending upon type, Gilway Medical/Surgical Lens-End Lamps are available with cylindrical bodies and bi-pin bases or flying leads, or with 3.8-, 4.8-, and 7.2 mm threaded bodies.
