(Norcross, Ga., 05 December 2006) Leica Geosystems today announced the introduction of Leica SmartWorx, a new onboard software for Leica System 1200 instruments.

TPS1200, GPS1200, SmartStation as well as SmartRover and SmartPole, the newest member of the System 1200 family, use this flexible onboard software. Operators can switch instantly between GPS and TPS and use whichever is the most convenient and suitable; extra training is not required.
