MaxLite Updates LED WallMax(TM) Wall Packs with New Optics

West Caldwell, New Jersey – MaxLite®, a leading marketer and manufacturer of energy efficient lamps and lighting fixtures, has upgraded its LED WallMax™ Wall Packs with new optics for increased light output and efficacy to further enhance safe, brightly lit and shadow-free outdoor environments. The new LED Wall Packs are perfect for lighting outdoor walkways, pathways, landscapes and other spaces in parking garages, parking lots, public areas, schools, hospitals, hotels, offices and other commercial buildings.

“Our LED Wall Packs have been reengineered with new optics that increase the family’s lumen package by about 30 percent, for up to nearly 4,000 lumens, with individual fixture improvements from 500 to 1,000 lumens each,” said MaxLite’s Vice President of Product Marketing and Engineering Pat Treadway. “The fixtures are more efficient and deliver a brighter light for increased security and visibility in high traffic areas.”

MaxLite's standard LED WallMax Wall Packs offer 30-, 40- and 60-watt LED fixtures that are energy-efficient replacements for 150-, 175- and 250-watt metal halide fixtures, respectively. Offering a crisp daylight color temperature, the LED fixtures save more than 70 percent in energy over metal halide fixtures, while reducing maintenance costs, and preventing light pollution. A 60-watt LED WallMax Wall Pack, replacing a 250-watt metal halide fixture operating 12 hours a day, reduces electricity costs by 11,655 kWh or $1,832 throughout the L70-rated 50,000-hour lifetime of the fixture.

The LED Wall Packs are constructed with shatter-resistant borosilicate glass lenses and rust- and corrosion-proof, heavy-duty cast aluminum one-piece housings that are IP65-rated and polyester powder coated for long durability and sealed to be free of dirt and insects.
