300 Watt Portable LED String Light Set with Rechargeable Battery Bank Released by Larson Electronics
Kemp, Texas – Leading manufacturer and supplier of explosion proof lighting equipment Larson Electronics has announced the release of a 300 watt LED lighting system that is designed for portability and reliability within the job site, and ideal for use in rough and demanding conditions.
The WAL-RPS-WBC-2XSL10.5-LED from Larson Electronics is a cart mounted temporary LED work area light with thirty high output LED lamps producing a combined 31,500 lumens of light. This string light system is powered by a 140 amp-hour rechargeable battery bank mounted within a wheelbarrow-style cart. Each globe is equipped with a 10 watt high output LED bulb producing 1,050 lumens and delivers more light output than a 100 watt incandescent bulb. Each light screws into a molded E26 lamp socket and the bulb is enclosed in a bird cage style plastic guard. This portable work light is comprised of two sets of ten hand lamp and two sets of five hand lamp stringers. Each string light consists of industrial grade LED lamps with 10 feet of 12/3 SJTW cable between each unit.
The string lights are powered by outlets on a rechargeable cart. The portable battery bank wheelbarrow cart allows the operator to pick up the unit and roll the entire assembly to a new location. The internal battery bank allows this system to be used as a source of emergency lighting during power outages or in remote locations without primary power sources readily available. This lighting system will run uninterrupted for 2.5 hours; nearly double the 90 minute minimum required by OSHA for emergency lighting. The cart is plugged into standard 120 volt power sources to run the lamps LED string lamps and charge the internal batteries. When power outages occur, the cart switches over to the battery bank for emergency lighting. This light is designed for heavy duty use in demanding conditions including emergency services, mining, construction, marine, and industrial operations where durability and reliability is critical.Â
