DDP® SL2 Series LED Stack Light Lamps Designed to Provide 360° Visual Indication
El Segundo, CA . . . DATA DISPLAY PRODUCTS, a leading manufacturer of innovative LED solutions, introduces a new series of lamp-based LEDs ideal to replace incandescent bulbs. The SL2 Series lamps feature 360° visibility for use in a variety of stack lights and signal towers.
Available in red, yellow, green, blue and white, the SL2 series lamps are designed to provide clear and obvious indication of machine status from anywhere on a factory or office floor. The SL2's small 15mm diameter fresnel lens and selection of base styles allows simple installation in a variety for 30mm, 50mm and 70mm stack lights. The 100,000-hour life of the SL2, keeps processes running efficiently under safe operating conditions in semiconductor, packaging, material handling and other industrial facilities.
Offered in 12VAC/DC, 24VAC/DC and 120VAC, the SL2 lamp circuit is immune to false indication caused by leakage current. There are several sources of leakage current in a circuit. Transient voltage from a relay or discharge from a capacitor creates circuit noise. Also, inherent in the design of some programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is a triac protective circuit that may supply up to 5mA of leakage current in the OFF state. The SL2 lamps incorporate a shunt resistor, as well as other circuit components to protect the lamp from over-voltage, reverse polarity, and electro-static discharge.
