Para Light Introduces E-Power LED Light Strip for Decorative and Emergency Lighting Applications



WALNUT, Calif., January 6, 2005 - Para Light Corp., a world leader in providing light-emitting diodes (LEDs) to electronics OEMs, has introduced a new enhanced-power LED light strip module as an ideal replacement for incandescent lighting in a wide range of decorative and emergency lighting applications.

At product introduction, the new light strip module (Part # LS07G5) is made up of individual 35-milliamp energy-efficient LEDs deploying Para Light's patented RGB (red, green and blue) technology. An IC controller allows adjustability and enables thousands of different color combinations. A single color-strip is also available.

The standard LS07G5 includes 10 E-power LEDs on a strip 10 inches long, with custom designs available to fit specific customer needs as to strip length, number of LEDs, and other individual requirements. The light strip has a viewing angle of 100 degrees, total flux of 20 lumens, and input of 5 volts. It operates in a temperature range of -20°C to +80°C.

LS07G5 modules are shipping now at prices starting at $35 each, with samples available for qualified customers. Delivery is five weeks.
