Thomas Research Products Introduces New LED Core(TM) Integrated Light Engine Module



Huntley, Illinois --- Thomas Research Products has introduced the LED Core(TM) series of integrated LED light engine modules, offering a turn-key solution for luminaire engineering. Thomas Research Products is a leading manufacturer of SSL power solutions.

TRP capitalizes on their experience in driver design to combine the LED array, optics, heat sink, and power management. This saves OEMs costly development time. The TR-SS1 series modules are engineered to seamlessly integrate into most fixture designs.

The key product feature is the one-piece die-cast aluminum housing with a robust design for superior thermal management and durability. The modular design makes it easy to replace key components.

The TR-SS1 series offers Class 2 universal voltage (100-277Vac) power supplies with high power factor and EMI Class A rating. The complete module meets UL8750 specifications, is RoHS compliant. Various models achieve 69-86 lumens per watt. Neutral White LEDs (4500-5000K) are utilized, with typical 75 CRI.

Lenses on the LED Core(TM) module are UV stabilized polycarbonate. Initial offerings include a Canopy module with a Type V short lens, and a Garage module with a Type V medium lens, featuring DLC Compliant optics.
