ILLUMRA Versatile LED Dimmer Delivers 0-10 Volt Control
Orem, UT, - ILLUMRA, the largest supplier of self-powered, battery-free, wireless lighting and HVAC controls in North America announced the release of a 0-10V controlled LED dimmer. The new constant voltage dimmer responds to a standard 0-10V wall slider, momentary switches, analog potentiometer, dry contact outputs from an automation system, or wireless battery-free switch(es) to adjust the brightness of LED fixtures using Pulse Width Modulation (PWM).
The new wireless device provides ultra smooth LED dimming at all light levels with industry-leading performance of 65,000 dimming steps, eliminating flickering at low dimming levels and overcoming a major challenge faced by standard PWM LED dimmers. The units can dim 12V or 24V LED strips and are rated for loads of up to 5 amperes.
In addition, each dimmer has an input for a wired occupancy sensor and responds to as many as 30 wireless switches or sensors. It may also function as a repeater for use in ILLUMRA wireless control networks. Buildings using ILLUMRA products may qualify for LEED credits and Energy-Star ratings. ILLUMRA products are manufactured in a ISO 9001:2000 facility, are RoHS compliant, and are FCC and IC approved.
