Leak Detection Flashlight Gets a Charge From a Car!

Westbury, New York - The Spectroline® TITAN® Stinger® - a cordless, battery-powered leak detection flashlight - now comes with a free 4 ft (1.2 m) cord, which easily plugs into a vehicle's cigarette lighter. This allows HVAC/R contractors to recharge the TITAN Stinger's NiCad battery while driving between jobs. The flashlight is also supplied with a wall-mountable charging cradle that has an AC charging cord, making it easy to recharge the battery overnight.

The TITAN Stinger is perfect for inspecting small to medium size AC&R systems because it is only 7 3/8 in (18.7 cm) long, which allows it to fit into tight areas where larger lamps are useless. Also there are no cords to catch on any protruding pieces of equipment, as frequently happens with standard UV inspection lamps.

The TITAN Stinger uses a xenon-filled bulb and unique TITAN filter lens technology to deliver much more power than conventional bulbs! As a result, all refrigerant leaks glow significantly brighter.
