Mini Leak Detection Flashlight Is Easy to Use in Tight Areas

Westbury, New York - Spectronics Corporation has introduced the super-compact Spectroline® OPTIMAX Jr(TM) - a cordless leak detection flashlight that reveals refrigerant leaks in crowded AC&R equipment that is off limits to larger lamps. It is just 7¼ inches (19cm) long, weighs only 5 ounces (140g), and is easy to carry in a pocket.

This powerful, low-cost flashlight makes all manufacturers' fluorescent dyes glow brightly, so technicians can quickly pinpoint each and every refrigerant leak in all types of equipment. It provides over four hours of peak performance with a choice of continuous or intermittent illumination.

The OPTIMAX Jr is powered by three AA batteries, which are included, and features an LED bulb with a 100,000 hour life. The flashlight comes with fluorescence-enhancing glasses.

Spectroline leak detection is the proven method to locate even the smallest leaks in air conditioning and refrigeration systems. Simply add a small amount of fluorescent dye into a system and allow it to circulate. Wherever the refrigerant escapes, so does the dye, which remains at all leak sites. Scan the system with a high-intensity inspection lamp, and you'll see the dye glowing brightly to show the exact location of every leak.
