Leading European Energy Provider EnBW Automates Mailroom Processing with eFLOW® Digital Mailroom From Top Image Systems

Tel Aviv/Cologne – Top Image Systems Ltd. (NASDAQ: TISA) a leading ECM (Enterprise Content Management) and BPM (Business Process Management) and mobile content processing solutions provider, announced today the successful completion of a mailroom processing project at German utilities company EnBW Energie Baden Württemberg AG. EnBW is one of the largest energy providers in Germany serving some 5.5 million customers.
Responsible for providing processing services and systems solutions as well as operating information and processing platforms within the EnBW group, the company ultimately chose to automate their mailroom processing with TIS eFLOW Digital Mailroom after a European-wide tender and after already having successfully processed their invoices with eFLOW for several years. The company’s incoming mail includes multi-page contractual documents and electricity meter readings, as well as customer correspondence. The next scheduled stage of expansion will also include automated processing of travel cost billings.
The company chose the eFLOW solution for its ability to reliably process highly complex structured, semi-structured and unstructured documents in any format, as well as to accurately extract any relevant information, classify the information according to structure and terminology, and then automatically initiate any further processing steps. By eliminating the time-consuming and error-prone manual handling stages, eFLOW Digital Mailroom helps decrease turnaround times and improve service levels. Those employees who used to expend significant time carrying out tedious routine jobs are now freed up for value-adding tasks.
