North American Video Introduces LCD Monitor Line-up
New Displays Offer Enhanced Viewing For A Variety of Security Environments.
Brick, NJ (February 10, 2005) - Adding to their growing line of security systems products, North American Video, one of the security industry's leading systems integrators, has announced the introduction of three new LCD monitors for use in a diverse range of security and surveillance applications. The new LCD displays include the 15-inch NAVLCD15, 17-inch NAVLCD17 and the 20-inch NAVLCD20. What distinguishes these LCD monitors from the numerous brands of units available today is that they have been specifically designed and engineered for the needs and applications required by North American Video's extensive roster of security clients.

The NAVLCD15, with a resolution of 1024 x 768, 250 cd/m2 brightness level and a 400:1 contrast ratio, is ideal for use when space is at a premium or in environments with variable lighting. Its innovative lightweight and compact design includes built-in speakers and power, as well as distortion-free viewing from almost any angle. An adjustable stand allows the LCD to be positioned for extended viewing times.
Offering a higher resolution of 1280 x 1024 and a superior contrast ratio of 450:1, the NAVLCD17 is well suited for use as the primary display in security control centers. Similar in design and features to the 15-inch model, the NAVLCD17 measures 15.2" x 15.7" x 7.5" (w x h x d) and weighs only 13.7 pounds.
Designed for viewing by a larger audience or for applications requiring close scrutiny, the NAVLCD20 offers a contrast ratio of 500:1 for a distinctive display of light and dark images. The 800 x 600 resolution and 500 cd/m2 brightness specifications provide detailed images in even light-drenched environments such as a windowed office or conference room.
