Hamar Laser Introduces New Scan Target
DANBURY, CT (March 18, 2002)...Hamar Laser Instruments has introduced a versatile new indoor-use scan target with self-contained numerical readout that is fully-compatible with any manufacturer's rotating (i.e. continuously sweeping type) laser alignment system.
Two models are available: The A-1531 Target, with a max. resolution of .010" (0.2mm), and the A-1532 Target with a max. resolution of .005" (0.1mm). Radial range is governed by rotation speed and spot size, with a max. radius of 100' (30m).
Displayed resolutions are .010" (0.2mm) or .025" (0.5mm) in either target, and .005" (0.1mm) in the A-1532 Target only.
The A-1531/A-1532 Targets feature the latest CCD technology, giving them unprecedented measuring ranges of 1.5" (38mm), and 3.0" (76mm), respectively. Each target displays readings: (a) relative to target center; (b) relative to "zero" - the displays can be zeroed anywhere; or (c) relative to the base of the target, i.e. giving actual dimensions from the base to the laser scan plane.
Targets are "auto on/auto off," and are operated by a rechargeable lithium-ion battery providing 8 to 9 hours of continuous duty life. Prices range from $1,595 for the A-1531 Target, to $1,895 for the A-1532.
