High Power Sensor for Positioning and Object Detection
The new HRT 96 series Sensor from Leuze Lumiflex is a high power, laser diffuse reflection light Scanner with background suppression that is perfectly suited for positioning or object detection applications. This high power sensor utilizes the principle of phase measuring (phase shift evaluation) and can reliably detects objects up to 5 m away. If the sensor is used in connection with a reflector foil its scanning range can be extended up to 15 m. The HRT 96 comes with two independently adjustable switching outputs for two different scanning ranges and one analog output (voltage) or as an optional version with 3 digital switching outputs. The HRT 96 has excellent black & white characteristics and is ideally used for applications that require reliable background suppression. The HRT 96 is very well suited for use in positioning applications where rough industrial conditions are present such as collision safeguarding or variable depth object detection.
