Laser Marking System offers large active working area.

Press Release Summary:

FineMarker, with active working area of 29 x 17 in., permits marking of multiple parts in one setup or in multiple locations on large surfaces. It uses gantry-type, flying optics motion system and end-pumped, diode Nd:YAG laser that produces high-energy output in fine beam, resulting in characters as small as 1 pt. System features fully enclosed, Class 2M design with double security for protection of operator. AD-Logic Job Manager(TM) software controls laser functions.

Original Press Release:

Large Format Nd:YAG Laser Marking Systems

Trotec Laser, Inc. (TLI) has introduced the FineMarker, an Nd:YAG laser system with an active working area of 29" x 17", much larger than typical galvo designs. This permits marking of multiple parts in one setup or in multiple locations on large surfaces. The systems use Trotec's high-speed gantry type flying optics motion system that was originally developed for their Speedy CO2 laser systems. The systems are intended for marking on plastic by inducing a color change, direct marking on a wide range of metals and for the removal of surface coatings.

The innovative design incorporates an end-pumped diode Nd:YAG laser that produces high energy output in an extremely fine beam. The result is high quality characters as small as 1 pt. There are currently three versions available depending on the intended applications.

The contact-free marking process reduces damage to parts and eliminates the need for expensive holding fixtures.

The systems are fully enclosed Class 2M design with double security for protection of the operator. The motion system and optics are enclosed. All components are designed for minimal routine maintenance and long useful lifetime.

The systems include AD-Logic Job Manager(TM), the field-proven easy to use software package that provides flexible control over all laser functions, simplifies positioning of the design on the work piece, maintains a job production history and seamlessly interfaces with the most common design programs.
