Focused Lens-End Lamps Effient Fiber Optic Light Sources


A line of precision, focused lens-end lamps that project a high intensity beam, making them ideal for use as light sources in fiber optic applications, is available from Gilway Technical Lamp of Woburn, Massachusetts.

Gilway Focused Lens-End Lamps are miniature light sources that project a concentrated high intensity beam of up to 17,000 Lux, depending upon design. Providing up to 10X the output of an equivalent size lamp without a lens, these high-efficiency lens-end lamps operate at low voltages from 2.5 to 12 V and 0.020 to 1 Amps current.

Permitting the use of lower wattage lamps while maintaining light output, Gilway Focused Lens-End Lamps are offered in 5 mm to 13 mm dia. sizes as vacuum types or gas-filled with argon, krypton, or halogen. They are made with high quality glass envelopes, precisely positioned compact tungsten filaments, and either smooth or threaded brass bases or no base.
