Lagassesweet to Market Crown Matting Systems

Fremont, OH -February 21, 2008-Crown Mats and Matting announces that they have been selected by LagasseSweet to be the company's primary supplier of matting systems.
Founded in 1943, Crown Mats is one of the oldest and largest matting manufacturers in the United States. Based in Fremont, Ohio, the company is most famous for introducing walk-off matting systems in the early 1960s, which are designed to improve safety and comfort.
They also introduced antifatigue mats to the industry, which provide a cushioned surface for workers who must stand at workstations for long periods of time. Crown's antifatigue mats are now used in Iraq to help our troops who must stand for long hours at a time aboard cargo planes.
LagasseSweet, a wholly owned subsidiary of United Stationers, Inc., Deerfield, Illinois, has been serving the jansan industry for more than 50 years. The company is the nation's largest wholesale distributor of janitorial, food-service, and paper supplies.
